How this calculation works
Subtract the deposit from the cash price, divide the balance between instalments, then add per-instalment fees. Show the cent-adjusted final instalment and add upfront setup and entered late fees to total cost.
A worked example
R3 000 across three instalments with a R10 fee each costs R1 010 per instalment and R3 030 overall.
Assumptions & limitations
- Deposit cannot exceed price. This models a fixed no-interest instalment arrangement with explicitly entered fees; it is not a general credit agreement model. Enter all quoted fees and check payment frequency and missed-payment terms.
